The Story Behind "Hell on Heels"

I was in the store months ago and came across the toy isle. I was immediately intrigued about all the new (and old) style toy vehicles for kids. My photography brain immediately kicked on and I envisioned bombshell models in front of burning vehicles. How could I possibly make this happen? Safety was on the top of my list of logistical nightmares.

I walked out of the store and went about my day. Twelve hours later in the middle of the night, I came up with how I was going to bring this vision to life. I will light toy cars on fire on one shot, shoot the model in the studio and inlay them both into a background from my archives.

Weeks later, I got some images out of it and I called the series "Hell on Heels."
