I approach each photoshoot having an idea of how the image will look before I get it to the editing stage. This shoot, however, couldn't have been more different. Sydney came in to get a headshot. I was anticipating some dramatic side lighting to highlight her high cheek bones. After a few frames, I knew this wasn't what I wanted for her. I changed to a more flat, high key lighting scenario. I blew out the whites in post and I think it came out uniquely and looks like something I haven't done before. It was a thrill to work with the sweet Sydney and to try a new approach to a photoshoot.
