I have to admit, I can usually kind of picture how things are going to turn out when I hear about the location. When Rakisha choose the Seattle Public Library for an engagement session, I was all like "Yeah, sure girl. I'm completely prepared for triangles everywhere and some killer architecture. Maybe some books. Who knows?" This time though? No. I was NOT at all prepared. Can you see this?! Red. Everywhere.
I absolutely adored Rakisha and Jason! They had the most endearing relationship and the sassiest sense of humor. Jason was just one big teddy bear from New York - who by the way, can really drive. Rakisha had the most gorgeous smile out there. Between Jason and I, we were loving getting it out of her.
This red hallway was somewhere buried deep inside the Seattle Public Library, somewhere on the 5th floor. After we found it, I knew that we had hit the motherload. I've never photographed an engagement session like this before.
After we came out of the mind boggling-ness of the red hallway of the Seattle Public Library, we ventured to yet another iconic Seattle location : The Harbor View Steps.
I'm sorry, but isn't she just LOVELY?!
You've got to hear about Jason's proposal! He had coordinated with Rakisha's family to go to Vegas over the holidays. Little did she know that they all were in on a surprise proposal on top of the ferris wheel. Just before they were at the very top, Jason got down on one knee, and in front of the entire family, asked Rakisha to marry him. Who could say no to that?!
Dear Rakisha + Jason,
I couldn't have had more fun on our engagement session. You two kept me giggling the entire time!
